Add language for translation: ru / Russian #242
Please include ru (Russian Language) to the list of languages in Zanata translation platform so I can translate flatpak documentation. To be precise, I have already done the translation. You just need to transfer it to Zanata.
@TingPing, @gasinvein Sorry, what do I need to specify in the flatpak-docs translation files in the "Language Team:" section, if I am not a member of the translators team?
I don't think that value matters at all. This just needs to be manually set up on the docs site so its not as easy as just merging.
In this case, can I leave this string empty? And this very same question concerns the line number 6 where Zonata is indicated.

The .pot file needs to be regenerated, its just outdated.
The thing is, I don't have a Zanata account. I downloaded the files from there and translated them using poedit.
I've removed Zanata from our documentation. Its a dead service sadly.

I would guess you translated something into invalid rst, I did one fix-up for that, but I'm not sure what else is going wrong..

Do you mean that in Russian localization there are whole paragraphs in English? That is not translated. For example, this: https://docs.flatpak.org/ru/latest/tips-and-tricks.html
It looks like because the untranslated paragraphs lead to this address: flatpak-docs/docs/ but not flatpak-docs/po/ru/LC_MESSAGES/

The problem is that the site: https://docs.flatpak.org/ru/latest/ mixes old and new versions of translations...
I don't know. It is successfully triggering a build every commit. It takes a few minutes but otherwise seems correctly configured.
@TingPing Everything is clear: translations indicated on GitHub as "fuzzy" are not synchronized
@TingPing I made those changes that, in my opinion, should fix the synchronization of the Russian translation. Specifically, I've removed the word "fuzzy" from all translation files.
@gostsdmitry Could you please group changes to larger single PRs.
I appreciate all of the work but opening a dozen PRs is just not a nice way to contribute.
