'Device is not rooted' doesn't mean that it isn't connected to a wifi network

Rooting a device is a process that provides the user the ability to grant root permissions to certain apps

Since this app opens raw sockets and sends packets over them, it requires root

I suggest you look up how to root your device on Google, just be cautious and do it carefully
