Js binding

Is a js binding possible?

I can probably help with it a bit with e.g. writing typescript declarations. I am not so familiar with c++ and I do not think I can do the most important and difficult part my self....

That is an excellent idea, a js binding would be great to have. At the moment the missing piece for that is HFST model support for javascript, if there was a js library for loading HFST models the rest would be quite trivial and nice to write...
