Adding Google Search by Image Functionality
It will be great feature to add "search by image" feature using Google reverse image search.
In many cases I find myself taking screenshots from various places (locally and online) and then upload them to Google image search.
It would be nicer to have a Google search button to instantly search for the selected screenshot instead of saving and re-uploading.

It already exists in Lightshot (a screenshot tool for Windows), and I use it a lot for specific use-cases. So, I thought maybe other people have the same case.

my fork is way behind master. if they consider this feature worthy enough to be merged, I'll consider updating it
This doesn't really fit into flameshot proper which is a screenshot and annotation tool. I think its best to split this into a different program.
I have re-implemented this feature on latest flameshot version. I'll try to keep it up to date with upstream. reverse search has its own button, but can also be used after uploading to imgur and choosing reverse search option in post upload dialog
I 100% agree with @borgmanJeremy. But considering that we are getting this every now and then, and considering that we have the plan to have a plugin system, I reopen this issue but under plugin label just to keep the idea in the list. This way when the plugin system is implemented, someone can create a plugin for it.
Just to clarify, this will not be a flameshot native feature.
