Rockstar Editor crashing upon launch or export preview.
Is there an existing issue for this?
- [X] I have searched the existing issues
Current Behavior
Upon starting Rockstar Editor to:
- edit clip
- render clip (preview after edit and export)
Game will crash.
Crash logs available if required
Expected Behavior
For it to function normally, being able to launch, edit clips, export without crashes.
Steps To Reproduce
Record with the /rockstar command and then edit the clip through "Editor" tab.
Anything else?
None
Are you attempting to edit more than one clip on the timeline at one time?
If so it will crash almost 100% of the time, only edit and export one clip. Always save your project before attempting an export so you can try an export again if it crashes.
just standard fivem stuff, the editor is likely to crash for a myriad of reasons Typical flow I used was to open the editor, add ONLY ONE clip to the timeline, edit the clip export for render, once the clip is saved remove it from the timeline and add another,
The duration of the clip is a few seconds. It is only 1 clip
My uses for the Editor doesn't have more than one clip together in one sequence...

are you receiving an error message on crash? if so post that here
what area of the map does the clip take place? when was the clip recorded?
Some typical FiveM resource crash
Burgershot yesterday, Up n Atom today

Really going to need more information on the error message, I have been able to fly in and take and edit recordings no issue, as have other players. Try and screen grab and upload w/ imgur
Tried to open another recording file: Received this upon loading into edit.
And please note - this is a SINGLE RECORDING.
This is just upon "selecting the option to start editing the video file"
And if I am able to edit the recording, is it adding the extra markers and camera effects that make it crash upon rendering?
