Word Count Pop-Up when on Auto compile every second the document updates

I get this annoying message constantly. I'm on windows 10 (64-bit) and using the latest version of the app. bug

Sorry you get this! Do you have happen to have auto compile enabled? The word count is triggered by a compile. image

It happens both with and without auto-compile. It is basically whenever the document gets compiled.

That is correct, it is designed to do this to track the wordcount. You can disable wordcount tracking in the native overleaf menu (see image), or if you want to keep wordcount tracking enabled, I can look into adding a cooldown period. image

Fixed in version 1.8.0 by adding a one-minute cooldown. Feel free to reopen if you have any feedback!
