randomly stuck at check_msg()

Hi, This library and simple2 sometimes stuck at check_msg() and never return from it. I think it's due to Socket timeout or connection issue. This happen now and then and it happen more often when the connection is unstable.

This is a serious issue. Is there any workaround?
