Hi, I am very new to GitHub so sorry if this is not the right place for this comment. I found this by searching for Unisex names and it really interests me. I am a novice coder and would like to know if you have an explanation of the process you went through to make this.
I'm wondering if I could do something similar using Australian data and in Python? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

The methodology is described in the FiveThirtyEight article and the underlying R code and data is here so that you can reproduce the analysis. You can absolutely do something similar with Python, although it's unclear whether there's comparable Australian data available.
