I don't think that it's worth making async personally... too many other issues can arise from not having the proper environment variables setup to make it worth the small gains...

you probably fixed it already but vscode runs the terminal with a different type of login than your normal shell login. i believe the one they use is a non-interactive...

I hadn't given much thought as to what the final form would be. It seems that something like Trello's card aging would work well. Not sure what information I can...
