Thanks for the tool. I don't know if you mentioned this anywhere or not (I did look) but you can download via http by replacing ftp://ftp2 with https://www2. I haven't tried updating for 2023, and probably won't bother since it's not going to affect my use case. ftp didn't work for me. I don't know why, but I couldn't download from the ftp site with ncftp either, including in passive mode. https is working great.
