Xiaomi Plug (lumi.plug) Not Updating Power Load

Hi, I am trying to use a xiaomi smart plug with the Mi Connector. Turning the plug on and off shows an immediate response in Hubitat for the 'switch' property. However, the 'power' property takes a long time even though in the Mi Home app the property is changed immediately.
