Timeline cursor offset from zero

Open melizaa opened this issue 7 years ago • 4 comments

I look at the Timeline of a person.

The Gregorian and the Hebrew birth dates are not shown in the same place on the line and the birth day age marker shows some 1.5-2 years after the date. 2018-10-23_18-20-53

In the calendar I can see that the Gregorian and the Hebrew birth dates are on the same day. 2018-10-23_18-22-06

I see that the cursor is approximately 3 years out.

I see that in 1.7, it was 1.5 years out.

Need to find when it was introduced.

Came across this old issue, it seems fixed. At least, cannot reproduce any more.

Advice to close the issue.

I think the bug is in the "draggable cursor", which doesn't align with the events.

This example is not as bad as the original report, but the cursor has a date just before the birth, but is shown after the birth.

Actually, I think the error is that the events are aligned wrong.

The bottom of the text box is aligned with the correct date. Is should align with the MIDDLE of the text box (and the joining line).
