thx for your report. i think you found a bug. probably the extension crashed after you right-clicked in the bank area.
can you verfiy if this happens with the latest version 0.4.56. because i was not able to reproduce it?

i think its just a batter of the naming of your config file: https://github.com/firsttris/vscode-jest-runner/blob/master/src/jestRunnerConfig.ts#L111 please re-open if your issue still persists.
there are some extension settings for pnpm https://github.com/firsttris/vscode-jest-runner#extension-settings have you checked them? but no xp with WSL2
probably thats possible by including them here: https://github.com/firsttris/vscode-jest-runner/blob/14079944bbee5026689e489ce0808a76953642d1/src/util.ts#L24 have not tested it. step for testing: 1.) clone the project 2.) npm install 3.) Go to Menu "Run" => "Start Debugging"...
i think that might be a change to jest-editor-support
can you check with 0.4.48 if the issue still persists?
