I can change some parts of the website UI
🐞 Problem I recently saw your website and I found that many changes can be done on your website for example - the navbar, the icons are too big in it. The main section where all the cards are. And the footer again there were some giant icons. And I think I can make the UI of the website better.
🎯 Goal This change can be very beneficial because right now the website looks ok but if we can change the UI then we can make it look modern.
💡 Possible solutions
- We can change the navbar styling.
- We can also change the main section where all cards are by increasing their width and all.
- We can set some max width for the icons that way they will look more nicer.
I will be really happy if I can make this changes in the website. Thank you.
Hi @PrgVaibhav, thank you for your interest in improving the website. I agree with you. It is quite dated.
Right now, we're in the process of completely re-vamping the website from the ground up. So, any changes done right now will be live only for a short while.
That said, you can decide if you still want to work on this. If you're doing this as a learning experience, go for it. I just wanted to give you more context in how we're going forward.

You can see the code in https://github.com/firstcontributions/frontend. But it's not ready for contributions from community now. We're working towards an MVP state. Lots of things can change. The setup is a bit complex right now and we haven't documented much. Right now, the focus is on getting to a working state.
