Translate English alt text to Ghanaian in README
🎯 Goal Translate English alt text to Ghanaian in the README translation to improve accessibility for Ghanaian speakers.
🐞 Problem The Ghanaian translation has images with English alt text, which makes the content less accessible to Ghanaian speakers using screen readers and other assistive technologies.
💡 What needs to be done Translate all English alt text to Ghanaian in the tutorial images. You can find the file at: https://github.com/firstcontributions/first-contributions/blob/main/docs/translations/README.gh.md
Common English alt text that needs translation:
- "fork this repository" → translate to Ghanaian
- "clone this repository" → translate to Ghanaian
- "copy URL to clipboard" → translate to Ghanaian
- "git status" → translate to Ghanaian
- "create a pull request" → translate to Ghanaian
- "submit pull request" → translate to Ghanaian
Example of what needs to be fixed:
<!-- Current (English alt text) -->
<img align="right" width="300" src="https://firstcontributions.github.io/assets/Readme/fork.png" alt="fork this repository" />
<!-- Should be (translated to Ghanaian) -->
<img align="right" width="300" src="https://firstcontributions.github.io/assets/Readme/fork.png" alt="[Ghanaian translation of 'fork this repository']" />
