There are lot of things we can do:

  • [ ] save pointers to the Pail dataset (minus log) for quick load
  • [ ] lazy decrypt https://github.com/fireproof-storage/fireproof/pull/100

from #366 "we need to delete local _file CARs when they are replaced be a newer version... We don't do that yet, but we'd love a patch that enables that behavior."
