Enhancements (UI and translators)
- [ ] #187
- [x] #186
- [ ] Allow clicking on the text boxes, and highlight the translated words that correspond to the source text word and vice versa (even if it's not fully accurate it can help in correcting the translated text)
- [ ] A smaller box below the translated text box which helps as a vocabulary. Basically this box shows the translation of the highlighted word. If a word is clicked in the source text box, then the vocab box shows its translation in the target language. If a word is selected in the translated box, then the vocab box shows its translation in the source language. It can also show synonyms for the word, whether it's a noun, verb, adjective etc etc.
- [ ] A switch to instantly swap the source and translated texts so you can cross check the accuracy of the translation. This switch should also swap the languages itself.
- [ ] A memory button which logs the source text material you can instantly revert to.
- [ ] Add a quick tile switch for hiding out stopping the service. (Single tap can hide and long tap can stop the service entirely)
Note: The UI enhancements are more tailored for users who use the tool to converse with others in a foreign language, so the accuracy of their texts and cross checking is pretty helpful. The translator enhancements are only in case they are free. Both DeepL and My memory provide more accurate translations than Google, Microsoft, Bing or any other.
Thanks for your recommendation. Your feedback looks very useful for users.
I'll check the feasibility ASAP then split them into subtasks.
