optimization debian package manager tweaks
By default, Ubuntu or Debian based "apt" or "apt-get" system installs recommended but not suggested packages .
By passing "--no-install-recommends" option, the user lets apt-get know not to consider recommended packages as a dependency to install.
This results in smaller downloads and installation of packages .

@Rajpratik71 thank you for these suggestions. I wasn't aware of these options are they are certainly useful.
This repository is mostly a read-only repository as a record of the experiments and data we used for the NSDI paper we published end of last month. It's certainly not perfect but this is the setup we used. I'm considering to archive this repository.
