Installing Play Games app during auth results in blank screen on return
This is a corner case, but perhaps something can be done in the AuthUI flow to improve it.
If I start a SignInIntent with GOOGLE_PROVIDER and scope GAMES, and I don't have the Play Games app installed, then I am prompted to install it in the Play Store. After installing it and returning to the app, the screen is either completely black or with a dark translucent layer over the content and it seems to hang here. I guess the relevant AuthUI Activity is waiting for a response but doesn't get what it expects.
If I press the back button then I get ErrorCodes.UNKNOWN_ERROR. Attempting the same sign in process again then works fine.
@pushbit thanks for flagging this, it's a hard one to test (since we have to uninstall the Play Games app each time) but an interesting corner case for sure. I'm glad it at least works on a second attempt, although we should make it work every time.
I believe this was fixed at some point since I can no longer repro.
