@ArcherEmiya05 we don't usually test with pre-release library versions (alpha, beta, rc, etc), so at the moment I don't have in mind any guidance that could help you fix this issue. However, I'll keep it open and will be keeping an eye out for when these libraries stabilize.

Hmm, not sure if it has really something to do with Material or AppCompat I just thought it is worth mentioning. But agree lets keep this open. Thanks
