Users can express dependencies on other model projects in both the same and other Legend instances.

Hi Ajith – thanks for reaching out. The metadata server code that is required to set up project dependencies in Studio is fully open sourced. You can find it in this repo.

What we’re still working on is to start releasing Legend-depot versions along with other Legend components and also work on enabling project dependencies in the shared Legend instance hosted by FINOS.

What this means to you, is that you shouldn’t be blocked setting up project dependencies in your local version of Legend. You would just need to decide where you want to publish the Studio project JARs to (e.g. your own Maven repo).
