Notes from meeting:

Mostly discussed implementing a FINOS Backstage instance. Polled the group on general interest in specific Backstage capabilities:

• Starter kits and golden path
• Service Catalog and search, reference architectures, ADRs, flows for automating conformance checks (fitness functions, etc) to say ‘are we compliant’ or drifting...
• auditing ADRs to revisit decisions, automation around the same
• making life easier, toolchain, SDLC, onboarding to tools
• ensure compliance of systems, SoundCheck
• Modeling, how does service catalog relate to CMDB (SNow integration?)
