FINOS SIG Leads are responsible for observing the FINOS guidelines for running project meetings. Project maintainers can find additional resources in the FINOS Maintainers Cheatsheet.

It is therefore extremely important that attendees adhere to meeting agendas, and be aware of, and not participate in, any activities that are prohibited under applicable US state, federal or foreign antitrust and competition laws. FINOS SIG meetings may be recorded for use solely by the FINOS team for administration purposes. In very limited instances, and with explicit approval, recordings may be made more widely available.

Minutes

We reviewed and agreed on the 17 Mar 2023 Licensing SIG meeting minutes
Katrina raised a question if all the needed people were getting an invite to the working group (e.g. Kat did not have the invite). The final list of the working group needs to be finalized at the next SIG meeting
- We should add all those that have attended before to this DL
Peter mentioned the question of if the inner source questionairre would be integrated with the OSMM was raised with the OSR but it was decided that they were two seperate purposes and to keep them seperate
James mentioned that it was already decided that the FinOS marketing team will schedule the email questionnaire with their program
Chamindra went over the license chooser code and the discussion of weather to integrate this with an open source license chooser for the financial institutions
- There would be value of keeping the chooser abstract especially if the users are new to Open Source and are not aware of the distinction between InnerSource and Open Source
- This was going to be taken as a topic to the OSR SIG and Chamindra will look to attend the next one to discuss it
- Peter mentioned he will open an agenda item for it in the OSR SIG
Joseph and Peter said they will also contribute to it and we discussed options for effective collaboration
- James suggest we do it as a hackathon on 3rd and 4th May and we agreed to have it
Chamindra discussed effective collaboration on the Inner Source license code
- James proposed we use the finos slack channel
- James will also initiate an initial email to connect all those contributing to it
Chamindra asked how he can contribute a video page to the docusarus site
- James informed that this would be a pull request and Authur is no longer maintaining it and would add Chamindra also to the maintainers list
  - Chamindra will create a fork for this purpose
  - Joseph volunteered to help to develop the docusarus site as well
  - Katrina offered to volunteer to help with the documentation and reviews
