Please check if this happens when using Microsoft Teams as a normal website in Firefox.

Good point. Will try that and see if it does the same thing

Visiting https://teams.microsoft.com/v2/ directly in the browser where I already also an existing session doesn't seem to have asked me to sign in again visiting it just now for the first time in a few days.

Maybe you were using another Microsoft website and the session automatically refreshed there? You can also try to create a new normal Firefox profile, sign in there and check tomorrow to see if your main profile might have some changes that fixed this issue.

I don't think there are any changes in PWAsForFirefox that would affect Microsoft Teams sessions. But appearently some similar problems already happend with other Microsoft websites (#542).

Do you still have this issue?

Yeah every day it does this. It stopped doing it for a few weeks then resumed yesterday.

Can you please try to create a new normal Firefox profile and check if it happens there? Also, do you use any extensions, custom settings or tracking protection? There is also a possible workaround (for Outlook) here, maybe it's related. But unfortunately I don't know why this happens.
