Hey @MarArMar. We've added step by step instructions just for local only mode [here](https://doc.anytype.io/anytype-docs/data-and-security/self-hosting/local-only). There should now be no confusion on how to switch.
@adhadseKavida If I remember correctly, the background apps section of Gnome only shows flatpak apps for now, so Anytype wouldn't show there. You'll need some kind of tray icons extensions...
Hey @KaKi87. This is happening because of [this](https://github.com/anyproto/anytype-ts/issues/630#issue-2204918415) issue. Usually the app is supposed to re-open if you try running it again.

Where are you getting the public spaces from? Anytype doesn't support these at the moment.
Personal is your personal space that is created when you create your account, while private spaces are all other ones you additionally create afterwards.
