[Question] Rails, Turbolinks and filestack-rails gem

The filestack-rails gem links to this repository as this is the javascript that is embedded when using the rails form helpers in filestack-rails gem.

The gem repository mentions that it does not work properly with turbolinks enabled. I was wondering whether that is because of this JS library or because a design consideration of the gem.
