Bug: Files aren't displayed in SMB network shares
Description
I have a SMB network share mapped to M:\ on my machine. When I browse this folder in Files, I can see all of the folders and sub-folders, but none of the actual files stored there. When I browse this same folder in Explorer, I can see everything. However, if I map the very same network share to a different drive letter using SSHFS-Win instead of SMB, and browse that folder in Files, I can see everything again.
Steps To Reproduce
- Map a SMB drive
- Open mapped drive
- See that files aren't shown
Steps to fix
- Files should be displayed

Can you send a screenshot of the Explorer compared to Files of the folder
Why was this marked as completed?
You didnt follow up with the screenshot
I was on vacation. Do you really need a screenshot? I described the situation in detail. Do you think I'm lying?
@JamesDBartlett3 sorry for the misunderstanding, we're happy to debug this but we need some more information and sometimes a screenshot offers additional clues.
Here are two screenshots, showing Explorer and Files side by side, looking at the same directory, and seeing different results.
Is this an issue in the preview version? https://files.community/download/preview
@Josh-65, As of Files (Preview) Version 2.3.48.0, the issue still persists.
Asking @yaichenbaum for approval.
I just stumble on this bug, using Files version 3.0.
The Files app copied one file and it won't show it, even after refresh, but the Details Panel shows that there are 4 files. Windows Explorer shows all files.
If I copy the files with the Windows Explorer the files show in the Files App but if I copy the files with the Files App they don't show up. The network drive is a WD Home Cloud.
