Feature: Copy to a list of location up to a size limit

What feature or improvement do you think would benefit Files?

Hi I was wondering if your program can copy all files from a folder into different folders which all behave like hard drive partitions just before the folder fills up or if it gives a copy error due to being full the copy process continues in the next folder that is the same pre set size. if not is there any chance this could be a new feature someday or a new program?

the closest thing to what i need done is done with winrar but it only makes rar files.

this is needed to backup large amounts of photos which i can then copy the folders onto usb flash drives or bluray discs using other software. this is needed as disc burning software does not let you recreate one bad disc when burning and spanning discs, you have to start all over re burning discs to get to the one disc that was bad. It would also be much better than rar files as the user can access the files quickly and the entire rar file could be curropt with just one bad sector making the entire backup not work.

If this can already be done that would be great if not it would be a nice feature request that would help alot of people who archive data. it seems like getting folder to behave like a partition or have some predetermined size is the first hurdle to overcome with a windows app. I just need folders to be made automatically as needed and named in sequence with the file folder name they are copying from and set to a size entered by the app user. then files copied to get close to fill the folder. this doesnt have to be perfect as it is usually relatively small raw photo files at around 50 megs each so its not like files need to be figured out as to which ones to put in the folders for a best fit scenario just copy in order until just before it fills the folder up due to size limits set, and then continue on the next pre made folder at the same defined folder size and repeating as needed. this would be so awesome and is really needed!

Requirements

• This proposal will accomplish X users who wish to backup files onto blueray with lots of discs or usb flash drives for archival use do not have to restart all over when an error occurs which makes this process nearly impossible unless they make their own folders with data themselves which is very time consuming when there are large amounts of data.
• This proposal will accomplish Y this will allow people to have backups that last generations up to 100 years with M-disc much easier then currently when an error occurs.
• This proposal will accomplish Z
