Steps To Reproduce

  1. Set files and windows explorer to similar preview size.
  2. Go to google drive dir.
  3. Compare icons.

Steps to fix

Make icons have the same size and smoothness as in windows explorer.

Seems this is not related to google drive, files app shows shortcut icon for folders small too. image

And this folder should have google drive icon, not shortcut icon from windows: image
