[windows] inflating/deflating incorrectly

Open alphaqueueop opened this issue 1 year ago • 0 comments

Description binaries work, except windows specific. when multiple select items or a directory and use 'zip' function in 'any format' it works but the directory structure is incorrect, in other archiver. if this was done on a windows machine, archive gz for example, would make it useless on unix machines deflate would not be correct

Expected behaviour proper archive good-7z

What is happening instead? incorrect archive bad-7z

Additional context works in windows explorer zip double click, but other archivers still can not read properly but-explorer

note, using wsl --system or unix binary in wsl, archive is correct.

this affects only the windows exe builds for some reason

How to reproduce?

  1. download 'any windows' filebrowser from release
  2. run instance
  3. download folder
  4. inspect archive with any 3rd party archive manager 4.1. cross check double click with windows explorer 4.2. cross check deflate on unix machine

Files self explanitory affects every windows build made to date
