Opt out native works strangely in Safari

When disabling native support, my implementation and also the demo (http://filamentgroup.github.io/fixed-sticky/demos/demo-opt-out-native.html) doesn't work in Safari.

I'm running Safari 8.0.3.

I don't have a video to demo (yet, and hopefully you can reproduce) but to put it in words the top red box for example jumps directly to the bottom of the top grey box instead of smoothly scroll.

Yeah, still an issue in Safari 9.0.3

Still an issue in Safari 9.1 and doesn't work in Safari for iOS
