Tags (Add) does not work

Open o-o00o-o opened this issue 4 years ago • 3 comments

I have a task template that includes Tags (Add) = "Blah".

If I create the template using the standard ADO template method it works and adds the Tag to the item (Task), however if I use it with 1-click-child-links no tag is created on the child item.

Is there any way to make this work?

Same for me. Created template, added Tags (Add) field with some values, triggered 1-click and the task created doesn't have any tags added.

Tried with the New task from template and tags are added.

For me, this is a show stopper. All of my User Story templates have a 'Tags (Add)' field so that certain tags are populated whenever a user story is created from a template.

Tags (Add) field added to template: image

When the User Story is created from the template, the tags are automatically added: image

When the User Story is added, via 1-click-child-links, the tags ARE NOT automatically added: image

@Jubal-Lindsey @o-o00o-o @cristian-zachiteanu Create Child Tasks - seems to be a clone of 1-click child-links but does add Tags. It only adds tasks so you can't add PBIs to features like you can with 1-Click. Guess you could have both and use accordingly
