StartOptimiser cannot load settings for printer Anycubic Kobra Max
Hello, This plug-in worked perfect until I added my new printer Anycubic Kobra Max. Once I added my new printer, on every next run if plug-in is enabled, my settings cannot be loaded and Cura forces me to add first printer like it has never been installed followed by Getting Started guide.
By disabling the "StartOptimiser" plug-in via plugins.json, I have successfully started Cura again.
Please let me know if you need any other info for further investigation.
Best, Danijel
Thanks for reporting.
When you select the "Disable loading unused configuration files" option, the plugin checks which configuration files your currently loaded printers use, and disables loading all other printer configuration files. If you then add another printer to your Cura install, it can happen that this new printer requires configuration files that have been disabled by this plugin. Cura sees the printer refers to "non-existing" configuration files and comes to the conclusion that it cannot load your printer and thinks that it must be the first time you launched Cura.
The workaround is to first use the "Restore all configuration files" option before adding a new printer to Cura. After you have successfully added your printer to Cura, you can then use the "Disable loading unused configuration files" option again. This will now keep in mind all the printers you have added to Cura, so it should not prevent your selected printer from loading.
