OSC output: Java version?

This report is somewhat incomplete, but it seemed best to log it.

I spend some time debugging a problem on Atau's computer where Wekinator was receiving OSC messages from Max on port 6448, but wasn't sending any messages back on port 12000. A trained model was running. The Wekinator GUI looked like it should be sending (sliders were moving, the output indicator was green), but there were no messages. I verified this in OSCulator, which indicated messages on port 12000 that I sent from Max, but nothing from Wekinator. This behaviour survived a restart of the computer.

I have not been able to reproduce this on my Macbook.

I was debugging using the 10January build of Wekinator, but I saw this problem earlier in the week with an older build.

Atau's machine is running Java version 1.6.0_65, whereas I'm running 1.8.0_71. He is on OS 10.13.4, and I'm on 10.14.2. I have a late 2012 Macbook, and Atau has a newer, touch bar Macbook.

I also tried changing the output port and sending the test message from the View->Outputs window.

I haven't been able to reproduce this on any touchbar macbook. Please let me know if you find more information about what was happening.
