hello iam just new in hackintosh and want to learn.

my laptop is asus ROG 551vw that have same specification with asus 552vw

i follow all the step and copy the clover to the disk installer

i got error like this : IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm 0x0

this is about the graphics error? anything that iam missed? your help will be very appreciated.

According to your boot log, you're hackintoshing a Catalina. I'm currently on Mojave, so some configs need to be changed to make it work on a newer version. What branch did you get your files from? The Catalina branch is here: https://github.com/fidele007/Asus-ROG-GL552VW-Hackintosh/tree/catalina by @baobaoit. Maybe he can shed some light on this.

Did you read the README? First, you need to install the catalina through the Olarila guide. Second, you apply my clover folder to your uefi partition. If you have panic then try to disable the clover/acpi/patched/dsdt file. I hope this information can help you.

I copied all efi folder from usb stick and replace kext, acpi from your EFI

And now showing error like this :

And tryng add bootarg : -disablegfxfirmware

if i used bootarg: -igfxvesa i can get in with sound working, touchpad working, battery and the keyboardbacklight working, but only the graphics stiil not working only showing 31mb

Any ideas?

My clover was tested on the version 10.15.3, so I don’t know if it has issue with 10.15.4 I suggest you backup the clover first, then update your clover and all the kexts in CKO to the latest version, allmost are on GitHub repository.

hiii @baobaoit finally i found the solution and get my intel hd350 to 1536nvram :) with re adding in Clover devices-properties and also change the boot arg

but brightness slider not showing up and also the display logo not showing the macbook pro icon but showing imac or another external display
