Slow indexing?

I've noticed that, when I try to mount an image {either as archive or as partition}, the indexing process is extremely slow, to the point of taking hours to process. Some casual research implies it might have to do with the compression type - if that's the case, what would be the most efficient compression type for the util?

Hi @TheQuinch, my tests suggest that Zst and BZip2 are the fastest to index.
