GetVCPRegister(0x60, out uint currentSource) returns strange value?

My monitors are Dell G2724D. I stumbled upon this issue when I tried to implement a Toggle feature where one hotkey would switch between two input sources. But retrieving current source gives incorrect value. The value also changes. Not sure when it happened. Possibly when I was reconnecting my DP cables for the monitors.
