[Bug, TF2, 8860] Cannot select individual vertices with vertex tool if they are too close together (unless in 3d view)

If you have a brush that has vertices too close to each other when using the vertex tool, hammer tries to select them both at the same time. The only fix for this has been for me to select the vertex I want manually within the 3D view.

You can see in the attached video the issue only happens with the smaller brush on the left side. Unfortunately I encounter this issue all the time when trying to fix invalid solids or when a vertex decides to move slightly off grid.

And? Are you saying this because you would like ficool to fix the issue on older versions of hammer as well?

I mean that this error is not hammer++, but a "feature" from the distant past. 😁
