Can't write .FW file to skydrop root

I'm on Mac OSX 10.14, root directory says Read Only in Info. How can I change permissions to be able to install new firmware update?

If possible maybe upgrade the OS? Writing to the USB device worked just fine for me on 11.6 (Big Sur). According to Wikipedia Apple will anyway end support for 10.14 on December 25th 2021 (which is in 2 days) with the release of MacOS 12 (Monterey): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacOS_Mojave

Also this might help: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/250166690

You can also try to check the SkyDrop filesystem for errors

Thanks. I’m running a Hackintosh so I’m reluctant to change OS too often… it’s a lot of work. Will try soon though. Thanks for your help.
