No GPS fix, no ground speed, when GPS locked

Hi all,

after updating to build 4520 (from 3850) some issues came out. GPS on vario barely lock. Rebooting, turning on and off GPS does not help. Vario has been placed under clear sky, or while paragliding.

Second issues also, i think, is affected by GPS. Vario does not show, ground speed, even when GPS is locked. It shows on 0km/h, or in case of showing speed, it changes super slow. It takes ~5sec from 30km/h to 0km/h.

Is anyone facing same problems? Is there an option to test GPS module if works properly?

You can go to Settings>GPS and select the entry showing the number of satelites. Then you see a page showing the satelites, their signal strength and how he is able to connect. This could help you clarify.

No satellites at all. "Status --> 0/0 No Fix"

It can take up to 20min to get a fix. I propose to leave the device outside of houses with a goog view to the sky. Then return and check the status of the satelites. Maybe you can attach a screenshot of the satelite view.

Will do that. But last time, It was like 30min under clear sky....

Hi,

so gps locked yesterday after two hours. Today no luck. After three and a half hours, 0/0 satellites. Vario was placed outside, it was partly cloudy.
