iPhone will not charge in power bank mode

I'm not able to charge my iPhone when device is off and power bank mode is activated. Other devices, like Android Phone or headlamp is charging.

that behaviour makes no sense to me.

Softwareversion 242, Hardware iPhone 12 mini, charging cable was double-checked with other usb-c sources
