Pilot & Flight profile

Open Altgenug1 opened this issue 3 years ago • 6 comments

As I understand the new version 171 there is a pilot profile and a flight profile. That makes a lot of sense because some pilots (like me) have more than one wing. But why is there still a field "Glider type" and "Glider ID" in the pilot profile? Or am I getting something wrong?

Glider is part of the pilot profile. You can create multiple pilot profiles with different wings.

Flight profile is for different type of flying like xc, local soaring or ppg

I can also create wing profiles. Or do you think that they should be part of flight profile?

Sorry - As I see it in the menu, there is some overlap. I can enter a paraglider in the pilot profile. In addition, I also have the flight profile where a glidertype can be written in again. Furthermore, it is somehow not possible for me to edit the flight profiles.

you can edite the profile files directly thanks to usb with a computer

for example i made a file named for each of my glide. but it would be easier and simpler for the user (not to code despite it is not so complicated) to be able to chose pilots, glides and and strato profile separatly.

We will add profiles for the glider too, thank you for the opinion

During the update to 207, the profile data disappeared. Procedure: It was not possible for me to do an update via WiFi, so I imported the strato.fw file via USB. After the update, the individual data disappeared. I then recorded data again and, like last time, gave it its own name. When updating to 208, they were retained. So this is only information!

Thank you for the report, can you send me the downloaded firmware file from your strato system/fw/D000207.fw to [email protected] I would like to see the file corruption during the wifi download
