GNSS data trasnfer to XcTrack
GNSS data transfer to XcTrack doesn't work in my case. I tried to do the settings several time, I also restored default setting in Strato.
Tell me what I should do to make this implemented feature working (for me one of the most important, still waiting for data+power transfer via cable connection).
I am using Samsung Note10 with XCTrack 9.6.1 - beta.
I pair phone with Strato-LE. All settings in BT are active:
All the XCtrack settings are set to receive external data:
I wait until 3D fix is ready (lately it takes up to 5 minutes to receive full signal)
The Strato shows:
and
XCtrack receives only vario data - no elevation, no speed is received:
When I deactivate the external GPS in XCtrack it immediately shows elevation and speed:
Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?
My intention of buying this device was to send FLARM and use your smart power/cable management (power bank => Strato <> Phone with telemetry data). Until now only FLARM was implemented, that is the reason I am interested in it.
The telemetry over USB cable doesn't work at all.
Setting look good. I need to check the code. Reference device does transmit the GNSS data correctly to xctrack. So I need to find the bug. The data over cable is not priority, but telemetry over LE is very low power. The power forwarding will be available soon.
Almost one month and no fix, no communication. How many months of software development for these results?
Please try this with 177. Also please disable the wifi and SPP.
I did the short test walking outside.
I turned wifi and SPP, I had A2DP and BLE on.
Connection worked well, data are transferred to XcTrack.
The option forward GNSS on/off works.
When I turned of A2DP during "flight" the Bluetooth disconnected and connected again.
I don't know why is the tracklog so poor.
I assume that this is igc from xctrack? It looks like rounding error. I might need to increase the precision. Thank you for the report
