Pavlov VR, picture-in-picture, Obscured images

Open ghost opened this issue 3 years ago • 2 comments

I play on a Oculus Quest 2 pc connected, appropriate run times. 2080ti 8700k, well cooled.

When I FSR with VRPerfkit at default settings and run the game, The game is a shooter game with picture-in-picture for scopes.

Those scopes I assume are multiplying the image and downscaling to suit the games performance.

When I use FSR, or any other setting it brings the image down to maybe 50x50 pixels, completely undecernable.

I have gone through standard corrective troubleshooting:

  • Erase Game
  • Erase Settings
  • Reinstall
  • Move folder and delete any other custom configs
  • Steamvr runtime
  • Oculus runtime
  • FSR/NIS/CAS
  • a few others, if you mention them I'll confirm or deny if Ive taken those steps.

For now, I will need to remove the app for this game. Thanks!

try disabling Anti-Aliasing in the game's menu if you haven't already. Doesn't 100% fix it but it still looks clearer. MSAA seems to make the scopes look worse with FFR.

@WizzDude MSAA doesn't have this problem while using OpenVR FSR or no upscaling at all.
