Not injecting into Project Cars 2 SteamVR Mode

If I launch Project Cars 2 into SteamVR Mode the vrperfkit.log file is not created and there is no effect ingame. If i launch Project Cars 2 into Desktop Mode the file will be created. Same if i directly execute the pCARS2AVX.exe or pCARS2.exe. For both files Steam tells me that i have chosen the desktop mode and I cannot choose the VR Mode. Is there anything I'm missing? Thanks in advance.

What headset are you on? I tested the demo of Automobilista 2, which runs on the same engine, and that game forces Oculus runtime on Quest 2: but it still worked. If that doesn’t work, try renaming both dxgi.dll files to kernel32.dll.
