Linux libraries aren't included with the linux redistribution
Upon downloading the pre-compiled Linux version of the port, it doesn't appear to include any libraries to launch it, and it launches with an error as a result.
Well yeah, you have to install them on your own because every distro in the world has different dependencies for them. There is a PR to roll Flatpaks which kind of fix this problem, but it hasn't been updated in a while.
I know this isn't a fix, but a workaround is to add the game to Steam and Force Steam Play tool -> Steam Linux Runtime 1 (scout)
The Steam Linux Runtime includes the requires libraries
I wonder if it would be worth shipping an appimage

Your mileage may vary. Works on my Steam Deck.
Does someone have the appimage for this?
There is a flatpak included in the autobuilds, if that helps. Someone right above you also posted an appimage link, though it might be out of date.
Ye, it's out of date. I was hoping someone would post another one
I will post an updated appimage later tonight and set up an automation. Haven’t been doing much gaming recently but will update!
Try this, I haven’t got a Linux machine in front of me but let me know if this works..
