Searching item history in the overlay

It should be possible to search items in Shapeshifter.

Very good idea! Maybe #420 would help with this? Maybe there should be a persistent Shapeshifter overlay action menu, and not just item action menu? Then that overlay specific action menu could have a search function among a "Clear list" function etc?

Or is this as simple as adding a false top to the list which is a text filter field for "any match" results, and when that's selected, the overlay stays open? And if you press "Up Arrow" again it scrolls to the bottom of the list as a loop (really important imho).
