Bug: Avatars stick to older messages

Steps to reproduce

It looks like you need a new message on a slow connection. I've only seen it once.

Expected behavior

When a new message arrives, if the avatar has not arrived, there should be a placeholder avatar used, and the column of existing avatars should advance with the corresponding messages

Actual behavior

The new message comes in at the top of the screen, but the column of avatars does not advance until the new avatar image is recieved

Device Info

Tested on 6, iOS 9.3.1
