NullReferenceException disables debug menu (KSP 1.4.3)

Looks like in the latest version of KSP (1.4.3), Ferram causes a NullReferenceException on loading. It seems to be preventing the debug menu from working (won't open when clicking on the toolbar button), although aerodynamic behavior seems to work fine.

Is there a work around for this or any update on when Ferram will be updated?

Considering this hasn't been compiled against 1.4.x, you should probably hold off posting bugs related to it until @ferram4 gets a chance to rebuild it
