Bug: All services are missing
Avoid duplicates
- [X] I have searched the issues tracker for a bug report similar to mine, in vain
Ferdium Version
6.2.3
What Operating System are you using?
Ubuntu
Operating System Version
20.04
What arch are you using?
x64
Last Known Working Ferdium version
6.2.0
Expected Behavior
When I open up my Ferdium, all my Services should load
Actual Behavior
When I open up my Ferdium, it says that it can't connect to my online services and I don't see any of my services that I had previously.
I tried logging out and logging back in, and everything is gone?
When I look at my ~/.config/Ferdium directory, i'm not sure where I can debug whats going on. I see all my downloaded receipes, but it feels like my configs are missing. When I do a 'du . -sh' in this directory, it says I've got 13 gigs of data (in the 'Partitions' directory).
Are my configs stored up on the Ferdium server, but are now missing? --> and because they are missing online, i don't see any of my services?
Should I even bother with making a Ferdium account anymore? And instead just have them locally?
Its a real pain to add all my services back.
Steps to reproduce
Opening up Ferdium

View > toggle dev console
@SpecialAro there's Toggle developer tools > console but not much to report there:
I'm also seeing this when I launch Ferdium from a terminal:
$ ferdium
Gtk-Message: 16:05:58.600: Failed to load module "xapp-gtk3-module"
Checking for beta autoupdate feature for deb/rpm distributions

Ferdium Migration: 🔧 Nothing to migrate, already on the newest version
Hum... The app launches but there is an error of a missing package
Can you check if installing it manually fixed it? xapp-gtk3-module
Also, make sure your config.json and proxy.json file are not corrupted

xapp-gtk3-module
No change

My proxy.json just has 6 entries with different UUIDs that look like:
"<UUID>": {
"isEnabled": false,
"host": "",
"port": 0,
"user": "",
"password": ""
}
I'm not seeing a config.json anywhere.
just an FYI, not sure how much this has to do with YOUR bug, but I had the EXACT same behavior after messing around with the recipes folder trying to create a custom service.
when i deleted the "offending" folder/files, everything just started working again (after quitting ferdium and running it again of course) like normal.
hope this helps someone
